You’ll find a lot of new and interesting information at the Maritime Museum and Coit Tower which you can access through Fisherman’s Wharf as well.

The best part of Fisherman’s Wharf is how easy it is to get there. Jump on one of the famed cable cars or simply take a bus to avoid the high priced parking. Once you are there you may consider spending the night to get the true feeling of how exciting it is at night as well. They offer full service hotels and even smaller inns that are perfect for a romantic getaway without leaving your own city. To get around Fisherman’s Wharf you can walk or take a horse drawn carriage around the wharf. Whichever you choose, it is a great way to see all the different shops, and restaurants as well as the perfect views.

Speaking of restaurants, you won’t be disappointed at all. With some of the best seafood found in all of the country you can find some of the most creative culinary temptations. If seafood isn’t your thing then indulge in the Ghirardelli chocolate, or the heavenly sandwiches made on fresh sourdough bread. From the fish market to the smaller café’s you’ll be able to eat from dawn to dusk without blinking an eye.

From the entertainment during the day of the tireless street performers to the late night bars and clubs, you’ll find more to do than just the typical tourist attractions. It is an experience all it’s own, and if you do get the chance to go to Fisherman’s Wharf you should lose the cynical edge you have and get out and enjoy it all.
